Indonesia faces a major digital divide, particularly in rural areas, where new ISPs struggle to offer reliable, scalable Internet services. The challenge is increased by Prop-127 from APNIC, which limits new organizations to a /23 public IP delegation. Many rural ISPs, often small businesses with limited resources and technical expertise, find it difficult to adopt complex networking solutions like CGNAT. These challenges stunt their growth and negatively impact internet service quality for thousands of home users and SMBs.
This project aims to help rural ISPs in Indonesia overcome the challenges of limited IPv4 availability and technical hurdles in expanding their internet services by introducing 464XLAT technology.
